About the league

Canmore Catan League

The league brings players together for regular-season Catan every Monday at 7 pm at the Rose & Crown in Canmore.

History

Formed at the original Canmore Hotel in 2010, the league is the first and only continually running Catan league in the Bow Valley.

Understanding the scores

Standings rank players by average score, with each game normalized to ten points: score divided by the winning target, multiplied by ten. Games count equally.

Knights counts knight cards played; road length measures the longest connected road. A hat trick means winning while holding both largest army and longest road. Karma records positive and negative sportsmanship votes. Average knights, roads, hat tricks, and karma are calculated per game.

The minimum-night filter shows players who attended at least 30% of the season’s busiest player’s nights.
